Course Description

This intermediate-level course is designed to deepen your understanding of PK/PD modeling and equip you to build and customize advanced models using Phoenix WinNonlin and Phoenix NLME. You’ll learn to go beyond built-in library models, interpret and present results, run simulations, and incorporate various covariates—including occasion covariates. The course also includes pharmacodynamic concepts and real-world case studies.

  • Create customized models using graphical and textual model editors.
  • Construct and refine population models with continuous, categorical, and occasion covariates.
  • Execute simulations to evaluate dosing regimens and predict PK and PD outcomes
  • Create models for target-mediated drug disposition (TMDD), using graphical and textual model editors.
  • Critically evaluate model performance using statistical criteria and graphical diagnostics.
